Increasing Awareness of Pancasila Through Meaningful Learning in the Era of Globalization

In the rapidly evolving era of globalization, Indonesia faces the critical challenge of preserving and strengthening the values of Pancasila as the nation's foundational ideology. This study aims to explore how awareness of Pancasila can be enhanced through meaningful learning practices, thereby fostering a strong sense of nationalism among the younger generation. The research employs a literature review method, gathering relevant references and analyzing key themes related to Pancasila, character education, and globalization. The findings indicate that understanding and implementing Pancasila plays a strategic role in igniting the spirit of nationalism in youth, especially as globalization often undermines local wisdom. The study highlights the importance of integrating Pancasila values within educational frameworks and leveraging mass media and technology to reach and engage students effectively. Additionally, it emphasizes the need for educators to enhance their competencies and adopt modern learning approaches that cultivate essential 21st-century skills. The research underscores that meaningful learning experiences grounded in Pancasila values can elevate awareness and practice among Indonesia's youth. It is recommended that educational systems implement strategies promoting inclusivity and experiential learning, ensuring that every citizen can embody the spirit of Pancasila in their lives. This approach not only strengthens individual identities but also reinforces collective national identity amidst the challenges of globalization.
